Chart notes
OBOY rated the pace inside, was met into the backstretch but recovered the lead toward the three eighths pole, contested the rail on the far turn and dug in under steady handling to hold on well. TAPACHILL saved ground on the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole and improved steadily, raced at the rail on the far turn and dueled to clear second mid-stretch. TAPADINE settled off the rail the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, entered the far turn near the rail, angled to the five path through the turn and dueled through the stretch for third. RUSH CENTER stalked the early pace three wide, gave chase past the half mile pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and was outfinished in the stretch duel for third. CATCHING STARS stalked the early pace from the four path, took a brief lead into the backstretch then gave chase approaching the three eighths pole, but dropped back off the rail midway on the far turn and weakened in the lane. COUNT DADDY raced in the three path the first turn, left the turn outside and showed little response. IRISH KING stalked two deep while between horses on the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole but weakened at the rail on the far turn. This race was hand timed.
