Chart notes
RAINBOW CREST bumped at the start, raced in the second flight, closed steadily and wore down his rivals to get up late. TAZ MARKING got away well, set a pressured pace to deep stretch and was outfinished in good effort. SPORTS IDOL pressed the pace to deep stretch and was unable to sustain his bid. GOLD EXPRESS broke out and bumped at the start, raced close to the pace along the inside, angled out on the turn and leveled off. CHARLIE THYME pressed the pace between horses to the turn, weakened and faded from contention. WATTS broke in and bumped at the start, lagged early, swung wide leaving the turn and lacked a bid. BUDDY'S PAL was in tight early and failed to menace in an even effort. EL PATO bumped at the start, was in tight early and went widest in the drive. CHECKSFORCHARLIE was not a factor.
