Chart notes
STARSHIP MOCHA showed the way along the inside, was coaxed passing the three-eighths pole, kicked away passing the quarter, continued to draw away in upper stretch. shortened stride in the final sixteenth, but held safe. AWESOME TRAIN bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced off the pace in the four path, was driven in the five path around the turn, tipped out to the six path entering the stretch, and rallied for place. DOLLAR LIBERTY bumped with an inner foe at the start and trailed from the five path into the turn, fanned out to the seven path under a drive at the top of the lane, and kept on for show. DOWN IN THE VALLEY chased in the four path but flattened in the stretch. SAMMY'S SAMARITAN prompted the pace in the two path, tried lugging in starting midway around turn, tipped to the rail entering the stretch, and faded on his left lead. IM STILL BRAVE raced wellback in the three path and did not factor from the five path down the lane. VIVA VICTORY rated in the two path but never threatened. VITO'S BROTHER raced in midpack from the three path and was cued into the turn, but faded around the turn. PAPEETE tracked in the two path but weakened around the turn.
