Chart notes
MOONLIT SHADOW stalked the pace two deep the first turn, took the nod nearing the three eighths pole and dueled from that point, contested at a close disadvantage two deep on the far turn, but dug in under determined handling and recovered the edge in the final yards. MAGGIE'S GIRL rated the pace inside, was met and pressured nearing the three eighths pole, contested the edge nearest the rail on the far turn, dug in under steady encouragement leaving the turn, was caught while flattening stride late and just lasted for second. JUBA'S PARADE saved ground on the first turn, picked up the chase nearing the five sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path, finished evenly and just missed second. CHANGE THE WORLD rounded the first turn about the three path, picked up the chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole but weakened off the rail on the far turn. XANTHE rounded the first turn about the four path, entered the backstretch outside and showed little response. BARBERS POINT settled in the four path the first turn then stalked three wide into the backstretch, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole but faded in the four path on the far turn.
