Chart notes
HOPPING HENRY was hustled to the lead nearing the five sixteenths pole and set a pressured pace, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled to hold on well. BODYSLAM gave chase, rounded the turn off the rail then eased out into the stretch and dueled to clear second inside the sixteenth pole. BUFFALO SHUFFLE became a bit edgy in the gate then gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn and flattened in the lane. REMYS GUNSMOKE set a pressured early pace, was met and gave chase toward the five sixteenths pole, rounded the turn about the three path and flattened in the lane. CRUZ IN THE CASTLE gave chase, raced in the five path on the turn, left the turn outside and showed little in the lane. EL DE CHIREL lunged and was steadied at the break, angled out to give chase and raced in the four path on the turn.
