Chart notes
GRANDY took over while angling to the inside and rated the pace, was pressured nearing the five sixteenths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn and held on well with steady handling. SHOOT THE BREEZE settled in the four path the opening turn, raced outside into the backstretch and gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn about the three path and dueled to clear second late. BAD LINEAGE raced well back off the rail the first turn, moved to the outside into the backstretch and picked up the chase past the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn off the rail, eased out in the upper stretch and came along to take third under the wire. YOUTHFUL ENERGY rated close inside, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail, flattened stride mid-stretch and was nipped from third under the wire. ZIGGY STARDUST raced off the rail the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path and flattened in the lane. BRADLEY DO RIGHT stalked off the rail the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole but weakened leaving the five sixteenths. LUCKY ONE steadied early then saved ground.
