ARTHUR'S RIDE coaxed from the gate, established the front shortly after and crossed to show the way just off the inside through the first turn and into the backstretch settling in hand, tucked inside five furlongs from home and remained patiently handled under the watchful eye of SKIPPYLONGSTOCKING in closest aim to his outside, got given a notch midway on the turn to maintain a safe lead, took the inside route at the quarter pole before tipping out two to three wide straightened away into upper stretch roused, drew off under a drive to inside the eighth pole, held well and clear kept to task to the finish. CRUPI went three wide into the first turn before tucking to the two path soon after, settled unhurried just off the inside near the rear of the field, tucked inside with half a mile to go before tipping back to the two path inside the three-eighths, came under urging nearing the five-sixteenths and angled out five wide into upper stretch, closed well through to the finish cutting into the winner's margin late while along for the place honors. POST TIME settled saving ground just off the inside through the first turn and then along the inside in mid pack down the backstretch, remained patiently handled getting sole nudges at the three-eighths and five-sixteenths before coming under coaxing nearing the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and then tipped out two to three paths with three-sixteenths to run, offered up a mild kick and was just bested for the place honors while clear for the show. DISARM saved ground near the rear of the field, got coaxed along with three furlongs remaining, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. SKIPPYLONGSTOCKING got bumped at the start by BRIGHT FUTURE, who broke outwards, and broke on top despite it, showed the way crossing to the inside and was displaced by the top one into the first turn, allowed that rival to clear and then tipped out to be three wide down the backstretch in closest aim and to his outside, tucked to the two path five furlongs out and remained on hold until placed to coaxing to up the pressure with seven-sixteenths to go, spun two to three wide into upper stretch giving chase and remained prominent to the eighth pole, then weakened in the final furlong. NATIONAL TREASURE got brushed at the start by WARRIOR JOHNY due to pressure from FIRST MISSION, tracked the pace along the inside from just off the pace, came under coaxing near the five-sixteenths, cut the corner into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. FIRST MISSION broke in at the start bumping WARRIOR JOHNY and pinching that foe back against NATIONAL TREASURE, raced just off the inside through the first turn, chased three then two wide from just off the pace, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths remaining and swung three wide into upper stretch, then weakened through to the finish. BRIGHT FUTURE broke out at the start bumping SKIPPYLONGSTOCKING, raced four then three wide through the first turn and settled near the rear of the field, chased four wide down the backstretch and through the far turn coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled in to spin just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact. WARRIOR JOHNY got bumped at the start by FIRST MISSION and was pinched back losing his lane against NATIONAL TREASURE, chased just off the inside coming under coaxing three furlongs from home, continued just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. CHARGE IT three wide through the first turn, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide at the half mile pole coming under light coaxing at that station, retreated through the turn and cornered just off the inside at the head of the stretch and was eased home through to the finish.
