Chart notes
STEPHEN JAMES saved ground stalking NEW EVERY MORNING, angled out to come four-wide into the stretch then gook the lead nearing the eighth pole and maintained a safe advatnage. DENNARD was allowed to settle early, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast. SURPRISE FASHION was reserved off the pace while racing two-wide, slipped through during the drive and closed strongly. NEW EVERY MORNING saved ground setting the early pace, drifted out to be three-wide nearing the three-sixteenths pole and weakened slightly late. TRIBAL IMPACT was forwardly placed early while two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. BLAZE OF DREAMS saved ground while being unhurried and failed to be a factor.
