Chart notes
SHIPS ON FIRE vied for the lead mid-way up the backstretch, then tracked the top pair around the turn, hustled along three wide into upper stretch, took the lead a furlong out and finished going away. VALE moved up two wide after opening stages and vied for the lead, battled on with BRAHMS IMAGE around the turn, fought back to the furlong marker then got overtaken by the winner, kept on and outdueled rival for place. BRAHMS IMAGE broke sharp and quickly cleared the field, crossed over to the inside, took on challengers midway up the backstretch, dueled with VALE into stretch run, got overtaken by the winner a furlong out, ran on and got edged late for place. MISSION IS A GO lacked speed, cut the corner entering the lane and failed to threaten. BURN JAKEY BURN moved up mid-way up the backstretch and briefly vied for the lead, flattened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive. AMERICAN WARRIOR moved up mid-way up the backstretch, briefly vied for the lead, flattened around the turn and retreated in the lane.
