Chart notes
HOBNOBIN GENERAL stalked the pace in the two path, bid on the far turn, dueled outside of a rival and was clear late under a mild drive. C. J'S STORM dueled outside of a rival, dismissed that one and then was challenged on the outside by the winner, then was no match late. BASSCOAT saved ground, bid in the two path at the quarter pole, faltered at the eighth pole and saved the show. FOLLOW THE MONEY stalked the pace in the three path and gained fourth late. MANUELITO was unrushed, managed a mild late bid inside but faltered. ME AND CHILI stalked the pace in the three path, bid in the five path at the three-eighths pole but faded in the stretch. GRAND IN BAY was not a factor. PRINCE SHIM dueled inside before giving way in the stretch. THE STEWARDS DISMISSED AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF MANUELITO AGAINST FOLLOW THE MONEY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH.
