Chart notes
SAISIR LE JOUR raced four wide early, then settled off the pace inside, advanced inside on the far turn, angled out at the furlong marker, closed steadily, surged in deep stretch and got up at the wire. INBOUND broke a step slow, raced five wide early, stalked two or three wide, bid three wide on the far turn, drew clear, dug in gamely and was caught in the final strides. WORK HARD raced off the rail, off the pace, chased three wide on the far turn, rallied mildly and bested the others. HALF A LEAGUE trailed the field, advanced on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and failed to threaten. FINAL OPPORTUNITY vied two wide for the lead, dropped back on the far turn and faded. ART HANDLER vied inside for the lead, dueled on the far turn and gave way in the stretch.
