Chart notes
IMPERIAL KING rated close to the early pace then checked from between horses and altered course approaching the three eighths pole, raced in the three path on the turn, dug in entering the stretch and took over late yards. HEY BOOTS broke sharply with a brief lead then pressured the pace, took the nod two deep past the quarter pole, dug in entering the stretch, was caught late yards but held well for second. HARDLY EVER BETTER was hustled to the front leaving the chute and set a pressured pace, gave up the lead at the rail past the quarter pole then flattened stride inside the sixteenth pole. GRAND ESCAPE chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn near the rail and ran evenly in the lane. INSIDE RISK chased toward the inside, rounded the turn near the rail and showed little in the lane. PRIZE FIGHTER came away rank then chased outside and raced in the five path on the turn. MAP EM UP came away a step slow and raced well back toward mid track.
