LINEBACKER was well placed early on, ranged up to strike along the turn, was in the five path into the lane, coasted by the leaders in the stretch, inched clear and held sway in the final stages. GOOD LORD raced up close early on, was in the four path into the lane, rallied with a bid down the lane but chased the winner in the late stages. BLUE LINE stalked the pace early on, was in the four path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch run. TOUCHDOWN ROCKET bobbled at the start, tracked the pace early from the inside, was in the three path into the lane and faded late in the stretch drive. UNCLE WILLIAM set the pace early from the inside, was in the two path into the lane, in tight and steadied nearing the eighth pole and tired the rest of the way. SOUND OF VICTORY was done early.
