Chart notes
MALADJUSTED MISFIT went to the front, forwardly placed throughout, drove clear down the home stretch and finished well. EL IT unhurried in the beginning, moved up, between rivals around the turn, made a bid, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. TUCKER THE GRUMP pressed the pace, raced close throughout and lacked a late kick. PUPPETEER lacked early speed, showed late interest, but was no factor. CLEVER PRINCE raced within striking distance, saved ground around the turn, weakened and finished evenly. PAC THE PULPIT lacked early speed, finished wide and was never a threat. COUNT ON RAIN challenged on the front end and was finished early. PAL'S ALARM raced within contention in the early part and dropped back.
