Chart notes
BORROWED EQUITY away alertly and tracked the leader into the backstretch while racing two out from the rail, forced the issue three wide in the run to the final turn, assumed control entering the turn, and drew clear over the final furlong to prove best. ON MY GOOD SIDE stalked the leader from the back of a compact field entering the first turn, launched his bid three wide entering the final turn, and closed two out from the rail in the drive to prove easily second best. DELTA SUNRISE raced to the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, set a pressured pace from along the rail in the run down the backside, was overtaken while continuing to save ground entering the final turn, but weakened over the final furlong while holding on for a share. SHOWMAN broke sharply and stalked the leaders in the run down the backstretch while racing eight wide, continued with an extremely wide trip into the final turn, and finished seven wide in the drive while unable to threaten. NOZOMI away well and tracked the leader into the backstretch while racing one out from the rail, forced the issue two wide from between rivals in the run to the final turn, but weakened over the final furlong.
