Chart notes
HALINA'S FORTE stumbled at the start then made light contact with a foe, tracked the pace on the outside then three wide on the turn, was roused outside the quarter-pole, chased under a strong hand-ride while behind the leader in upper stretch, altered down to the rail coming to the furlong marker while put to a right-handed crop, gained along the rail to make a bid coming to the sixteenth-pole and got under strong handling to prevail. BARAYE bumped soundly with a rival while also making contact with another foe at the start, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied in the two path on the turn, inched clear at the five-sixteenths pole, responded well when set down in upper stretch, came under a left-handed crop inside the furlong marker, switched to a right-handed crop near the sixteenth-pole, fought gamely to the finish but was denied while able to hold the place. VALUE AREA was away alertly then dropped to the rear, settled at the back under some urging, moved closer while four wide on the turn, chased outside under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop near the furlong marker, gained to make a bid around the sixteenth-pole and finished with good courage but missed. GOLDEN DEGREE broke out and bumped soundly with an opponent, pressed the pace on the inside of a rival, vied along the rail on the turn, dropped back late on that bend and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
