Chart notes
ANNIVERSAIRE D'OR saved ground setting the p[ace and gradually increased his advantage. GRAMMY WINNER was unhurried early, came two-wide into the stretch, steadied from between horses nearing the eighth pole then angled to the inside and rallied late. DELTA DELTA saved ground chasing ANNIVERSAIRE D'OR, drifted out nearing the eighth pole and held on well for third. WIREWYRE was allowed to settle early, moved up two-wide nearing the quarter pole, came three-wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. FED GRANT prompted the pace for a half mile while two-wide and weakened. DIVERSIFUL was prominently placed early while racing four-wide and tired. PICAHOUSE was allowed to settle while racing two-wide, came five-wide into the stretch and gave way.
