Chart notes
MISS MINGO vied inside of BLUE JEAN CHERIER in early stages then took on the challenge of GOTTA LOVE LIFE around the turn, dueled inside of rival into the final furlong, held a slight edge, fought on gamely and held firm. GOTTA LOVE LIFE raced in contention then made a move three furlongs from home, vied outside of MISS MINGO into stretch run, dug in gamely but could not get by late and had to settle for clearly second best. SHE'S A JEM was forwardly placed in early stages, flattened a bit late on the turn and got carried out four to five wide entering the head of the lane, was no match for the top pair but ran on and got a nose up for show. BLUE JEANIE CHERI vied for the early lead then failed to match past the midway point around the turn, flattened off the leaders, drifted four wide turning for home, ran on and got nipped for show. GOLDEN BONITA raced in range heading into the turn, weakened a bit and got carried five wide entering the upper stretch and just missed show.
