Chart notes
CHARGING AERO broke out at the start under coaxing and broke on top despite it, raced five paths off the inside in aim of the front and then three wide through the turn advancing to apply pressure to the leader in concert with MISTER J T and getting placed to coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, swung three wide into upper stretch, got bumped in the hind end and spun inwards by MISTER J T when seizing command at the three-sixteenths, dug in under a drive and outgamed and outrode his rival to the finish to prevail. MISTER J T coaxed from the start, prompted the leader from the outside four then two wide between foes through the turn and under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, seized command near the quarter pole and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, came out under a left handed crop and bumped his main danger in the hind end to spin him inwards at the three-sixteenths just after relinquishing the front, dug in under a tepid ride inside through to the finish and was along clear for the place honors. JOKING WAY brushed the near side stall at the start and then brushed NOTABLE BOB, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four to five wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. BEACH BOY AL chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch devoid of speed early on, tucked to the two path into the turn and came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the finish. NOTTOWAY coaxed from the start, chased along the inside under coaxing from the half mile pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. RIBBONS AND MEDALS coaxed from the gate, showed the way under light coaxing just off the inside and then along the inside, yielded the front near the quarter pole and took the inside route into upper stretch, then weakened through to the finish. NOTABLE BOB (CHI) got brushed at the start by JOKING WAY, chased along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact.
