Chart notes
CAPRICE vied for the lead on the outside, made a three wide bid in hand to set a pressured pace on the turn, then was roused nearing the furlong marker to be clear by the furlong marker and then was kept to a mild drive to prove best. ONYX TEN stalked the pace four wide, then advanced on the turn and came three wide off the bend, could not get to the winner and lugged in by the sixteenth marker while being clearly second best. GREAT ANDREI vied for the lead on the inside and weakened in the final furlong while besting the rest. BOURBON N LACE was out-sprinted early, three wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and improved. A COZY THING vied for the lead in between rivals and then was empty. FIRST PEARL chased the pace two wide and weakened.
