SMART WINDSOR took the lead nearing the seven sixteenths pole and rated the pace well off the rail through the backstretch, rounded the turn in the two path and held on with steady handling. RAN OUT OF TRAINER gave chase, raced in the four path on the turn and ran evenly in the stretch. TRUE INDY ducked out and hit the gate at the break, gave chase through the backstretch and raced off the rail on the turn. LA MADDALENA chased, raced in the three path on the turn and flattened in the lane. CRAFTY CANDYGRAM gave chase, raced at the rail on the turn and weakened in the lane. MITOLE CANDY saved ground. ODDS ON MISCHIEF was only briefly close and rounded the turn about the five path.
