Chart notes
CLASS WIZARD , urged soon after the start, advanced outside FLASH IS BACK to gain a short lead near the half mile pole, maintained the lead and dug in late to prevail. GO TAKE CHARGE lacked speed, worked between horses in upper stretch, eased outside approaching the sixteenth pole and closed. SILVERBULLETTWENTY hugged the inner rail around both turns and down the backstretch, eased off the rail in upper stretch and came up empty. FLASH IS BACK showed speed along the inner rail and faded late. SUPER E lacked speed, stayed along the inner rail throughout and passed a pair of tired horses late. GOOD KNIGHT NILE , three wide the first turn, was four wide leaving the far turn and failed to be a factor. PRINCE OF PORTLAND raced in the three path on both turns and gave way.
