Chart notes
SPINNIN PISTOLS was reserved off the pace while racing two-wide, rallied four-wide into the stretch and finished fast to be up in the final seventy yards. BLUEGRASS GO GO saved ground setting the pace, opened a clear lead nearing the quarter pole and was caught late in a game try. POVERTY BAY was forwardly placed while racing three-wide and finished well for third in a steady effort. SON OF THUNDER was unhurried early, rallied five-wide into the stretch and was gaining late. TABLE BAY saved ground while being allowed to settle, came three-wide into the stretch, angled in to split rivals nearing the eighth pole but lacked the needed late response. OUR BOY ROY saved ground chasing BLUEGRASS GO GO and finished close-up along the inside in a good effort.
