Chart notes
LOVELY SASSICAIA broke in, pressed the pace, made a bid down the home stretch and drove clear before the wire. TRIPPIN ON BEAUTY raced in the middle of the field, made a late wide gain, finished willingly and got by SUMMERTIME PEPPERS for second. SUMMERTIME PEPPERS broke out, bumped rival, vied for the early lead, was forwardly placed throughout and got caught late for second. BOBBY BOY lacked early speed, came around the turn on the outside, made a mild bid, racing wide, but was no factor. CUSTOM CADILLAC void of early speed and was never a threat. STARSTUDDED AFFAIR dueled on the front end, saved ground and faded. GREAT RUNNER bothered at the start, racing in the back and never mounted a bid.
