Chart notes
RUNALDO raced in erratic paths through the front stretch then stalked off the rail the first turn, challenged into the backstretch and dueled for the nod approaching the five sixteenths pole, ran clear at the quarter, rounded the turn at the rail and was taken in hand mid-stretch. XCELLENT START saved ground just off the pace, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced in the four path on the far turn and dug in to clear second late. VAGABOND VIRGIN stalked from the three path the first turn, moved to the outside into the backstretch and gave chase toward the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and flattened stride mid-stretch. ROYAL PAIN became anxious in the gate then saved ground, picked up the chase into the backstretch, raced near the rail on the far turn and showed little in the lane. PAPA LINGUINE rated the pace inside, was met into the backstretch and dueled from that point, gave up the nod approaching the five sixteenths pole, dropped back at the quarter then weakened at the rail on the far turn. SUMMONING DENIS raced off the rail the first turn, moved out into the backstretch and showed little response.
