Chart notes
PALACE GUARD dueled inside of C R INSTAGATOR up the backstretch, shook free mid-way around the turn, came two wide into upper stretch, remained confidently handled and finished ridden out. SHIPS ON FIRE raced off the clear top flight in early stages, launched a three wide bid in upper stretch and finished second best. SUCCESSION raced in the last flight, rode the rail around the turn, cut the corner entering upper stretch, sustained a steady bid and cleared the rest. TAP THE BRAKES raced off the clear top flight positioned near the inside, chased two wide around the turn then faded in the lane. C R INSTA GATOR dueled outside of the eventual winner up the backstretch, could not match strides mid-way around the turn then tired in the drive. LATE FOR LUNCH turned head right when the gate opened and came away slow losing a lot of ground on the field, rushed up to race in the last flight, came five wide into upper stretch and never threatened. STEWARDS POSTED INQUIRY LOOKING AT THE START, AFTER REVIEW IT WAS DETERMINED LATE FOR LUNCH RECEIVED A FAIR START WHICH RESULTED IN NO CHANGE
