FRONT END was unhurried early, raced along the inside into the turn, shifted out four wide out of the turn, was gaining steadily while lugging in and edged clear late stretch. SAINT CLOUD was allowed to settle early, raced along the inside into the turn, angled out three wide through the turn, took a brief lead mid stretch, couldn't hold off the winner and finished second best. GALLANT KNIGHT set a clear early pace, raced off the rail into the turn, drifted out late and weakened. ASTIN STYLE was shuffled back soon after the break, was void of any early speed from the inside, angled out to the six path in early stretch, drifted in late and finished belatedly. TOM S was reserved early, raced four wide and was empty.
