TIE BREAKER stalked close up three wide, bid three wide entering the turn, dueled, led into the stretch, drew clear and widened under urging. XCELLENT MEN raced off the pace inside, advanced outside on the turn, came four wide into the lane, rallied mildly and earned the place spot. KERN RIVER stalked close up two wide, bid between rivals entering the turn, dueled, then dug in along the inside in the final furlong. QUINCY MARKET raced two wide off the pace, came five wide into the lane, failed to threaten and got the nod for fourth. IT'S A PITY raced two wide off the pace, raced on the rail turning for home and failed to threaten. PAPA DO PAPA DO raced off the pace inside and did not factor. DUDEWITHANAME showed good early speed to set the pace, then dueled inside and gave way.
