Chart notes
SECRET TREASURE well placed and outside, gained a striking position three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drove clear late. PARTY AT THE BEACH sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, drew off down the backstretch, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, dueled, came again late and held the place. IRISH STONE well placed and outside, gained a striking position on the two path through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, dueled with that one, edging ahead at the furlong marker, then could not sustain the bid and held the show. FROZEN FOUR rated inside, saved ground through the turns, raced boxed through the second turn, waited, came through, made a steady gain, blocked late, angled out and could not gain. FAMOUS FINAL SCENE unhurried, saved ground through the turns, angled three and four wide into the stretch and had a mild gain. MIDNIGHT COUNCIL was no factor.
