Chart notes
DESIGNATED settled well behind, moved boldly wide on the turn, split foes into the stretch, rallied clear and held inside rival safe. DIANE'S MERLOT reserved behind wall of pacesetters, rallied inside through the lane and was second best. EMILY'S ON FIRE vied along the inside, led into stretch then weakened. CORONA CAMPIONE prompted the pace three wide for half mile and gave way. KOKOPELLI GIRL forced the pace between rivals for half mile and stopped. SIRANI moved close up four wide and faded on the turn. INDEPENDENT broke slowest and was never involved.
