Chart notes
LAVINIA SPIRIT was well rated on the inside, made a two wide bid leaving the bend between rivals, drew off smartly to prove much the best while under right handed crop urging. FIREBALL EXPRESS was away alertly to vie for the early lead on the outside, made a three wide bid entering the turn and drew clear and moved to the inside, then was headed leaving the turn, proved to be no match for the winner while keeping on to be second best. SAVE THE MISCHIEF was off slowly, settled back two wide, eased out on the turn, swung out five to six wide leaving the turn and was along for the show award. DISCO FLASH vied for the early lead in between rivals, then rated off the lead and made a three wide move by the quarter pole, but weakened in the final furlong. KENTUCKY REIGN chased the pace three wide and came four wide off the bend and weakened. FLEETING EMBER was settled early, three wide on the turn and was not a threat. ELL GRAY vied for the lead on the inside and steadied entering the far turn and dropped back. AUNT JO was reserved early, saved ground on the turn and was not a factor.
