Chart notes
MORE VINO coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside under the watchful eye of BARRELL CRAFT to the outside, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and was brushed by BARRELL CRAFT a sixteenth out, came out and bumped that rival twice while gamely rebuffing that rival to the finish. BARRELL CRAFT coaxed from the start, raced three wide in closest aim of the leader coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung five then four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive coming out at BEARY FUNNY a furlong out, then came inwards brushing with MORE VINO near the sixteenth marker, dug in and was bumped twice nearing the finish and was repelled to the line. BEARY FUNNY coaxed from the gate, chased four wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, angled six then five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and ran on to secure the show honors clear of the rest. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS chased two to three wide coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, swung three wide into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the finish. ASSERTIVE ATTITUDE chased two to three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered no response. ICE ROAD coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, spun two to three wide for home, weakened in the stretch. DUNE ROAD coaxed from the gate, chased four to five wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled six wide into upper stretch and tired. WHITBY chased along the inside under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
