Chart notes
HUNTLEIGH unhurried in the early part, saved ground around the turn, angled out at the head of the stretch, made a wide bid and got up in time. LASSIE MY GIRL pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, made a bid, took the lead down the home stretch and was caught at the wire. FOURALIVIA vied for the early advantage, forwardly placed throughout and was outfinished by the top two. RED WHISTLE void of early speed, gained ground and finished willingly. LONGLEGGEDLAVERNE broke out, bumped, raced evenly near the back and was no factor. GIRL THIRSTY lacked early speed and passed tired ones. PICKIN ANA GRINNIN showed early speed, saved ground and was finished early. MISS SHIPMAN broke sharp, pressed the pace briefly, retreated and was no threat late. CORA PEARL broke in, bumped, raced within contention and dropped back.
