Chart notes
COLONEL LUDLOW dueled for the lead with RED LEADER and THE LAIR while racing three-wide, shook those two off nearing the eighth pole and gradually increased his advantage. G DAWG was unhurried early, rallied four-wide into the stretch and closed sttongly. RED LEADER vied for the lead from along the inside into the stretch and held on fairly well for third. THE LAIR dueled for the lead from between horses to near the eighth pole and weakened.
