FREE LIKE A GIRL was allowed to settle early, raced along the inside through the first turn, continued to follow the pacesetter along the backstretch, tipped out to race four wide through the second turn, was closing steadily through the stretch, took control late and edged clear. CLEARLY UNHINGED followed the early pace, raced three wide into the second turn, ranged up and took control through the second turn, kept on to late stretch, couldn't hold off the winner and finished a game second. JUST KATHERINE was outrun early, tipped out to race five wide through the second turn, made up considerable ground through the turn, was no match late and finished evenly late. PRINCESS INDY was taken back early, raced along the inside while passing several rivals along the backstretch, couldn't continue the run and flattened out late. APPLE PICKER was unhurried early, angled out five wide through the second turn and offered no late rally. NIGHT CAP was void of any early speed, raced three wide into the second turn, angled out to the seven path in the drive and never fired. HAPPY CLOUDS raced in mid pack early, advanced four wide through the second turn and was no factor. SPIRIT WIND set a clear early pace, raced off the rail into the first turn, looked comfortable along the back stretch, continued to race off the rail into the home turn, was collard in the home turn and faded steadily.
