Chart notes
MOHS stalked close up two wide early, then vied between rivals on the backside, dueled two wide on the far turn, battled heads apart with NANTASKET BEACH passing the furlong marker, wore down that rival and edged away late. NANTASKET BEACH set the pace on the inside, dueled inside on the turn, dug in gamely on the rail in the stretch run and yielded grudgingly past the sixteenth marker. HIGH TIDE steadied in the chute, settled off the rail, off the pace, then tracked inside on the backside, chased on the far turn, angled out three wide into the stretch and lacked a winning bid. HOKU stalked three wide early, then vied three wide on the backside, chased on the far turn and weakened. KOBLA MAS raced off the pace inside and did not factor.
