Chart notes
LEADING THE CAUSE tracked the pace two wide up the backstretch, let out a notch and moved up to poke a head in front approaching the quarter pole, cleared command upper stretch and finished going away. SPANISH KISS set a pressured pace around the first turn and up the backstretch, got collared for the lead by the winner near the quarter pole, cut the corner entering the lane, ran on and secured second best. GLOME raced well off the early pace, hustled up late on the far turn, came three wide into the lane, finished with response and cleared the rest. DIXIE THREE G pressed the pace up the backstretch and into the far turn, flattened off the top pair late on the far turn and continued to tire in the drive. JUPITER MISSION settled off the top two flights up the backstretch, hustled along four wide around the far turn then then failed to sustain bid into the lane. NICE ONE JULIO raced inside off the top flight, failed to advance under pressure around the far turn and steadily retreated. RAYS BIG DREAM saved ground racing in the back, raced five wide under a drive in the lane and never menaced.
