INDIE FREEDOM bumped with the horse to his outside at the break, recovered to lead the way up the backstretch, raced in the two path around the turn and drew off in the lane. PERRY COUNTY tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the bend from the two path and kept on in the stretch, no match for the winner. TAP THE KID bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, raced in the middle of the pack through the opening quarter, came around the turn in the four path and made up some ground in the lane. HONOR THE GIANTS trailed the field up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and never threatened. MAKIN MY FORTUNE chased the leader on the inside early, navigated the bend from the two path and faded in the lane. FOLLOW MY HEINEKEN veered out and then swerved in leaving the gate, raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and made no bid.
