Chart notes
CAJUN TREASURE broke sharp, cleared the field and was able to quickly establish a nice lead, raced in the two and three path, maintained and held sway. WESTPHAL stalked the leader from the four path, launched a bid at the three eighths pole, improved position, was encouraged at the five sixteenth pole, passed rivals, getting up for second. SUMMER SHANDEE was off mid pack, raced on the rail, maintained position through out racing even. MADE THE TEAM was off slow, was able to find his stride along the rail, launched a bid at the half mile pole, improved, shifted into the three path in the upper stretch then faltered. MASHHAD FLATS stalked the early leaders while racing in the three and four paths, edged to the rail in the stretch and finished flat. MARKSMAN ON TARGET was off in the middle of the field, dropped back a bit, shifted over to the rail and saved ground, launched a bid at the half mile pole, gained ground, improved position through the turn, was on the rail and in contention in the upper stretch but to no avail. ITS FIVE SOMEWHERE raced from off of the pace, was in between foes early, settled in hands, moved at the half, was widest into the stretch launched a late bid but had no kick.
