Chart notes
JUNIOR HOT SHOT pressed the pace, bid at the five-sixteenths, moved clear by upper stretch, held off a rival under steady urging. YACHT BOY hopped slightly at the start, settled last but one, advanced four wide between runners on the turn coming out six wide by upper stretch, kept on late and closed the gap but needed more. GAROFOLI broke outwardly, settled off the pace outside, went about five wide through the turn, came out a few paths further for the stretch run, ran on evenly late. COOLER MAN broke inwardly bumping a rival, unhurriedly brought up the rear, shifted out at the quarter pole swinging six wide into upper stretch, ran on but needed more. SUMMER COMMANDER stalked from outside four wide, was within range coming to the quarter pole but flattened out in the stretch. VALYRIAN SKY pursued the leaders from mid-pack racing mostly three wide, swung out five deep leaving the turn, failed to rally. CRIMINAL INTENT broke awkwardly and was bumped at the start, made an early advance inside, saved ground on the turn into upper stretch and faded. SPEEDEEMAN moved forward to the lead soon after the start, set a moderately pressured pace off the rail, was overtaken late on the turn, came up empty.
