Chart notes
DANSK vied outside, took over at the five sixteenths pole and pulled away under urging. SMILE MAKER broke slowest, raced wide, moved very green in the stretch, lugged in. DR. LOU urged close up outside, steadied slightly at the sixteenth pole and continued well. DAY OF DAYS raced inside, angled out on the turn and closed well. REGALPAINS trailed early then offered some late energy. STAR MAN BOB alternated for the lead inside winner then proved empty in the stretch. CAPPETTA flashed speed inside then gave way readily. SON OF DELILAH dropped back inside and weakened steadily. A claim of foul by the third finisher against the second finisher for interference in the stretch was dismissed.
