Chart notes
AUSTRIAN NAVY broke in full stride to set all the pace while getting quick fractions, drifted to the six path at the top of the stretch and drew off to win as much the best while being ridden out. AFERDITA pressed the early pace along the inside, shifted out to the three path near the seven sixteenths pole, also drifted to the six path entering the stretch, was guided inward two wide before the furlong marker and finished clear for second. RIGHT TRAPPE close up three wide, dropped inside on the turn and faded late. TEAM GOLD DIGGER failed to menace. FULL TIME STRUTIN was no threat.
