SPIKEZONE got away well, set a pressured pace to the turn and drew off under urging. STAGE LEFT broke in, was taken outside, rallied three across on the turn, was no match late and finished second best. CHIEF RON lagged early, raced outside, went six wide leaving the turn and offered a mild bid to earn show. ON THE MARK pressed the pace along the inside to the turn, fell back, weakened in the drive and faded. GOOD JUJU trailed the field.
