Chart notes
AWESOME PAL angled in soon after the start, urged two deep early on, took command into the upper stretch and drew off to be clear under steady pressure. HAPPY TAPPY TIM stalked the pace, raced three wide around the far turn and finished second best. CARLY HUSTLE was unhurried early on, raced four wide around the far turn and moved up to improve position racing from the far outside. CROSSTALK showed good early foot and weakened the final eighth of a mile. PHANCY PHILLY chased the pace from the inside and tired. KATY THE CAT dropped back to race mid pack early, was three deep around the far turn and had no response. HIGHWAY QUEEN was injured, unseated her jockey and was loaded into the equine ambulance.
