Chart notes
DURANTE chased two wide, moved up between rivals at the quarter pole, rallied inside, closed well late and got up at the wire. POINT DUME vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the turn, led into the stretch, drew clear, dug in gamely in the final sixteenth and was caught at the wire. NOBLE GASTON stalked three wide, chased three wide on the turn, lacked a rally and held on for third. GRUNT was outrun early, closed belatedly inside and missed for third. THE BULLION BOMBER (IRE) vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, chased and faded on the rail. RUN POPPY bobbled at the break, chased inside, gave way and was eased up late.
