Chart notes
LOST IN NEWYORK vied with SHADOW BOX and MAKOTO for the lead, opened a clear lead entering the stretch and maintained a safe advantage. PUTTHEGLASSDOWN dropped back early, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished fast. DESANTIS was unhurried early, came three-wide into the stretch, split rivals during the drive and finished in a mild rally. SYNONYM was forwardly placed while racing four-wide and finished fairly well in a steady effort. MAKOTO vied for the lead from between horses and weakened after a half mile. HE IS BAD was allowed to settle early, moved up four-wide to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole then flattened out during the drive. SHADOW BOX vied for the early lead from along the inside and tired. LIVING WATER was close-up early while racing three-wide and gave way.
