Chart notes
BEAU MISCHIEF saved ground stalking the pace, angled out to come two-wide into the stretch, caught ATOMIC CANDY nearing the eighth pole and then was all out to best that one in a stiff drive. ATOMIC CANDY saved ground setting the pace under pressure from TAPIT AT MIDNIGHT and SENSEMAKER, responded when challenged by BEAU MISCHIEF and held on gamely to lose a tough decision. REGULATION DAZED was allowed to settle, angled out to be four-wide nearing the quarter pole and finished in a mild rally. SENSEMAKER was prominently placed while racing three-wide, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole and then flattened out during the drive. RHODIUM RUNNER was reserved off the pace, came four-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. TAPIT AT MIDNIGHT vied for the lead while racing two-wide to near the quarter pole and tired.
