Chart notes
IRIE MAN coaxed from the gate, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking to the two path into the turn, came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, briefly tucked inside midway before tipping back to the two path into upper stretch, rallied to collar the leader nearing the eighth pole, edged clear under a drive and was geared down inside the final seventy yards to prevail comfortably on the wire. TRIPLE WORD SCORE coaxed from the start, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled four wide into upper stretch, tipped out to to three paths straightened away and offered up a mild kick to be along clear for the place honors. SENEGAL stumbled at the start, chased just off the inside under coaxing from the three-eighths, angled four wide into upper stretch and improved position to secure the show honors. WILD NUGGET veered out at the start and broke on top despite it, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, got collared nearing the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. FOUR EYES coaxed from the gate, chased four wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, continued four wide into upper stretch, weakened. NEPTUNE BEACH coaxed from the start, chased two to three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. RAGAZZO DIABOLICO raced forwardly placed three wide, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, continued three wide into upper stretch and weakened. CAN'T STAND DISCO struck the off side stall at the start and stumbled getting away last, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch and tired. LANDAUER coaxed from the gate, took the overland route six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then six then five wide through the turn coaxed along from the three-eighths, continued five wide into upper stretch and tired. MAMA'S MIDDIE chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked four wide into the turn and came under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled to swing in the inside route into upper stretch and faltered in the drive.
