GENERAL BATTLE AXE raced off the pace up the backstretch, began a bid from the three path coming around the turn and dueled to the wire to get up for the win. JOHNNY UP trailed the field up the backstretch, came around the bend in the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and dueled to the wire to narrowly miss. WYNN TRIP raced in the middle of the pack on the inside early, saved ground around the bend, began a bid passing the quarter pole and dueled in the stretch to narrowly miss. SHAMAN SEZ chased the leader up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the bend and was outkicked in the lane. LAST STAND led the way through the opening quarter, opened up racing around the turn, entered the stretch in the five path and tired from there. THINKN BOUT DRINKN raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, angled in to save ground around the turn and was empty in the stretch.
