Chart notes
SIX HOT GRANDS broke alertly and assumed early command, set the pace into the first turn and drew to a clear lead while a bit keen going past the finish for the first time, maintained a clear lead into the backstretch run, drew off nearing the furlong marker, had the lead cut into a bit in the stretch drive, was ridden out in the late stages and held sway as much the best. MISCHIEF'S THIRSTY settled along the inside to begin, improved position with one circuit remaining and chased two wide into the second turn, ran in pursuit of SIX HOT GRANDS nearing the furlong marker, was able to cut into the winner's margin in the stretch drive but could not impact SIX HOT GRANDS in the late stages and was second best. BIG ATTITUDE was slow into stride leaving the start and trailed in the early stages, saved ground into the first turn, improved position with one lap to go, chased two wide into the second turn, saved ground nearing the furlong marker, could not impact the top two in the stretch drive and ran on to be a clear third. NOTCH tracked the moderate early pace three wide in the early stages, lost position passing the wire for the first time, chased three wide into the second turn, maintained a three wide trip nearing the furlong pole and weakened. RINGTONE raced close up to the moderate early pace, stalked SIX HOT GRANDS through moderate fractions passing the finish for the first time, chased outside of the pacesetter into the second turn, could not keep pace with the winner nearing the furlong grounds and faded in the final stages. TRIANGLE broke out at the start and was away a bit slowly, settled off of the moderate early pace, went four wide into the first turn, trailed passing the wire for the first time, saved ground into the backstretch run and did not factor in the late stages.
